Costa Blanca is one of the loveliest areas of Spain, because it combines the laid-back beach vibes to Spanish culture and sunny weather.

Rhiannon Partington
I am a dedicated yoga practitioner with over 20 years of personal practice and a certified yoga teacher, trained in a comprehensive one-year program (2022–2023).
I teach Gentle, Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Viniyoga, adapting each class to support students of all levels. Through my exploration of meditation I’ve completed three 10-day Vipassana meditation courses and I enjoy weaving meditation and breathing practices into my classes to support students in cultivating balance, calmness and inner awareness.
For me, yoga is more than postures—it’s breath, meditation, mindfulness, and a way of living that nurtures body, mind, and spirit. Alongside yoga, I am also a qualified Billings Ovulation Method® teacher, which is a natural approach to fertility awareness and understanding of your menstrual cycle and hormones, in order to support health and well-being. Both practices reflect my belief in healthy living, balance, and connection with the rhythms of nature.
My classes are a space to slow down, connect with your body, mind, and spirit, and cultivate balance, awareness, and inner calm. I aim to inspire students to carry the insights of their practice into daily life, integrating yoga beyond the mat.
Gina Cobbold
My journey into holistic healing began with deep study at the Ayurveda Institute UK under the mentorship of Dr. Deepika Rodrigo, where I completed Level 1 and 2 Diplomas and 2.5 years of intensive academic and clinical training to become a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner. Guided by a passion for authentic wisdom traditions, I continued my studies in India, immersing myself in advanced Ayurvedic massage, Panchakarma therapies, and Ayurveda pharmacy with Greens Ayurveda in Kerala and Aithen in Goa.
I also completed a Sound Healing training with Tibetan singing bowls at Aithen, Goa, and Yoga teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga, Goa.
I am currently expanding my healing journey through Dr. Gabor Maté’s professional Compassionate Inquiry training, exploring the profound link between emotional healing, presence, and self-awareness.
The weather is ideal during autumn and spring. Most ideal is May and October. During winter the weather is mild varying between 15-20 degrees during daytime. In hottest summer months in July and August temperatures may rise over 40 degrees Celcius.
Generally speaking, something like 3 months before. If you find a retreat that fits for your vacation time and flights, book it now.
Yes, Vikasana Retreats are suitable also for beginners without preliminary knowledge on yoga and ayurveda.
Most importantly, pack cozy clothes to practice with, sunscreen, swimwearm and some long sleeves for cooler mornings.
Check a simple packing list for Yoga teacher training here, which is ideal also for retreats.
