Valencia and Alicante are definitely not the only instagrammable places in the area, but you should check out also these other hidden gems.
There are multiple photogenic locations varying from waterfalls to modern cities and colourful palm tree villages.
Villajoyosa - little village with colors
This little village 35 kms north from Alicante offers colorful walls and charming seaside for photos.

Altea
This cute, white village up a hill has loads of boutique stores and places to eat. There are great viewing points and white walls with flowers.

Parc El Palmeral in Alicante
About 5kms from Alicante centre you find this park full of pallm trees and tables ideal for a picnic. There's also a simple restaurant to buy coffee and food from.

Esplanada of Alicante
In the centre of Alicante this curvy-tiled Esplanada with palm trees is definitely a location you do not want to miss out on.
